DashNex Pay (MoR)

Accept card payments with DashNex as your Merchant of Record — we handle compliance and chargebacks so you can focus on your business.

What is DashNex Pay?

DashNex Pay allows you to accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through DashNex as the Merchant of Record (MoR). We handle payment processing, compliance, chargebacks, and payouts so you can focus on growing your business.

One FIAT provider at a time: You can only have one FIAT payment processor enabled — either DashNex Pay or Stripe Standard. You can switch between them at any time from Money → Processing.

Merchant of Record vs Payment Service Provider

Understanding the difference between a Merchant of Record (MoR) like DashNex Pay and a Payment Service Provider (PSP) like Stripe is important for choosing the right solution for your business.

Merchant of Record (DashNex Pay)

DashNex is the legal seller of your products. We handle all the complexity.

Payment Service Provider (Stripe Standard)

You are the legal seller and take on full risk. Stripe processes payments on your behalf.

When to Use DashNex Pay

DashNex Pay is ideal if you:

  • Want to start accepting payments right away — no Stripe account needed
  • Don't have a Stripe account yet or are in the process of establishing your company
  • Sell to customers in multiple countries
  • Value convenience over having the absolute lowest fees

Supported Payment Methods

All Major Cards

Accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Customers can pay with credit or debit cards.

Digital Wallets

Apple Pay and Google Pay are automatically enabled, providing a seamless checkout experience on mobile.

Fee Structure

DashNex Pay fees consist of two components:

  • Base gateway fee — The underlying payment processor fee
  • DashNex fee — Credits per order for MoR services

Fee rates are individual per business. Your current rate is displayed in Money → Processing → DashNex Pay.

Currency Settings

From the DashNex Pay settings page, you can select which currencies you want to accept for card payments. Add or remove currencies based on your customer base. USD is enabled by default.

Preferred currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD. You can sell in any currency and withdraw to your account in any currency. However, transactions in currencies other than these four will incur a higher gateway fee due to conversion.

Processing Limits

Like DashNex Credits, your card processing has limits:

Limits can be increased after processing 75% of your approved volume while maintaining low refund and chargeback rates. Limit increases are reviewed within 48 hours.

Enabling DashNex Pay

To enable DashNex Pay:

  1. Navigate to Money → Processing
  2. Click Add FIAT Provider (or Switch if you have Stripe enabled)
  3. Select DashNex Pay
