WebApp Modules

Media Library

Your central hub for all uploaded files — images, videos, documents, and more.

What is Media Library?

Media Library stores and organizes all files you upload to your WebApp. When you add images or files while creating pages in Pages Manager, they automatically appear here. You can also upload files directly to Media Library to organize your assets before using them.

Navigating the Library

The Media Library displays your files in a grid view with visual icons for different file types. Use the breadcrumb navigation at the top to move between folders, or click the back arrow tile to return to the parent folder.

Sorting and Search

  • Sort by Name — Alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A)
  • Sort by Date — Newest or oldest first
  • Search — Find files by name within the current folder

Uploading Files

There are two ways to upload files:

Quick Upload (Drag & Drop)

Drag files directly onto the Media Library grid. They'll be uploaded to the current folder immediately.

Upload Dialog

Click the Upload button to open the upload dialog. This gives you more control:

  1. Drag files to the upload area or click to browse
  2. Review selected files and remove any you don't want
  3. Choose a destination folder
  4. Click Upload to start

The dialog shows progress as files upload and provides a summary when complete, including any errors that occurred.

Supported File Types

Media Library accepts most common file formats:

  • Images — JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG, BMP, ICO
  • Videos — MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, WebM, MKV
  • Audio — MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, M4A
  • Documents — PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, RTF
  • Any other file type — Media Library accepts all file types

Organizing with Folders

Click Create Folder to add a new folder in the current location. Use folders to organize your media by type, project, or any structure that makes sense for your business.

Moving Files

Select one or more files by clicking them (a selection number appears), then click Move to choose a destination folder. You can move files to any folder in your library, including the root folder.

File Actions

Hover over any file to reveal action buttons:

  • Download — Save the file to your computer
  • Delete — Permanently remove the file

For bulk operations, select multiple files first, then use the Delete button in the toolbar to remove them all at once.

Deleting Folders

When you delete a folder, all files and subfolders inside it are also deleted. This action cannot be undone, so use caution.

Using Media in Pages

When you're editing a page in Pages Manager, you can insert media from the library into your content. Images display inline, videos play with controls, and documents appear as download links.

Video Options

Videos inserted into pages can be configured with playback options:

  • Show Controls — Display play/pause, volume, and progress bar
  • Autoplay — Start playing automatically when the page loads
  • Loop — Restart automatically when finished
  • Muted — Start with sound off (required for autoplay in most browsers)

Coming Soon: Full video hosting support with a custom video player featuring advanced options, analytics, and optimized delivery. Currently, videos use the native browser player.

Storage

Storage usage counts toward your business's resource allocation. All media files are served through a global CDN for fast delivery to your customers worldwide.
