Money

Money

Your business payment flow at a glance. One dashboard for every business, whatever the processor, with today's volume, your balances and the metrics that matter.

Overview

Money is the landing page of the Money section: your business payment flow at a glance. It is one dashboard for every business, whatever the processor — comparisons keep working even if you switch from DashNex MoR to Stripe or back. The Money section of the sidebar has three more pages: Balances, Transactions and Processing (DashNex MoR, Stripe and DashNex Credits).

Today

The wide panel on the left shows today's gross volume against yesterday at the same time, with a small line of the day so far. Yesterday's line is dashed.

Balances

The small panel on the right summarizes your balances and links to Balances. It shows figures only:

  • Incoming — Settling through DashNex
  • Direct — Paid to your Stripe account
  • Available — Other currencies are shown as, for example, "+ 1,450 DNX"

Period and Comparison

Choose the period with the switch: Today, Yesterday, 7 days, 30 days, Month to date, Quarter to date, Year to date, 12 months, or a custom range.

Use Compare with to choose what the period is compared against:

  • Previous period (the default)
  • Same period last year

The label follows the period — "vs previous month", "vs previous 30 days" or "vs yesterday". Your choice stays when you change the period, except that Year to date is always compared with last year. A line under the switch shows both date ranges.

When the previous value is 0, the change shows "New" instead of a percentage.

Tiles

Each tile shows a value, the change, the previous value and a comparison sparkline.

TileWhat it shows

Reporting Currency

Balances and metrics are shown in your reporting currency. It is the main currency of your current processor:

  • DashNex MoR — your payout currency, picked at MoR setup from USD, EUR, GBP, CAD or AUD (it defaults to the currency of your country)
  • Your own Stripe account — the default currency of your Stripe account
  • Otherwise — USD

If a processor switch changes the currency, which is rare, everything is shown in the new currency and older payments are converted at each payment day's exchange rate, so comparisons stay correct. Nothing is converted when the currency doesn't change.
