Sales, fees and refunds

Module sales go through the DashNex Credits processor: buyers pay in DNX, your revenue follows the standard Money flow, the App Marketplace fee depends on your credit tier, and buyers can get a refund within 7 days.

Processing and payouts

Module sales go through the DashNex Credits processor. Buyers pay in DNX.

Your revenue follows the standard Money flow, exactly like a product sold through your app: Incoming → Available (DNX) → Transfer to credits, Convert, or Pay out. A module sale (the first payment) stays Incoming for 7 days, the refund window, unlike other DNX transactions, which settle within 24 hours. Renewals are never refunded and settle within 24 hours. Every sale shows in Money → Transactions; see Transactions. There is no separate developer payout system.

App Marketplace fee

The fee is 25% of the order, with your tier discount taken off. Your tier is your developer business's credit tier; see Credits.

The fee is recorded in your transactions as App Marketplace fee, referencing the sale. You see your current fee when you publish your listing.

Uninstall and refunds

Every installed module has Uninstall in its ⋯ menu. Uninstalling raises an app redeploy, and the module is uninstalled when the owner deploys.

Within 7 days of installing (first payment only), a confirm modal shows the refund amount and the last refund date. The buyer clicks Uninstall and refund. The DNX goes back to the buyer, and your revenue and the App Marketplace fee for the sale are reversed. The refund is issued when the buyer redeploys.

No refund

Uninstalling gets no refund when the module is free, when more than 7 days have passed, or for a renewal. There is no confirm modal: the module is uninstalled and Redeploy required appears, as for any module.

  • A one-time purchase stays the buyer's. The module shows Purchased in Available and can be installed again for free.
  • A recurring module stops renewing. Reinstalling is free until the paid period ends, then billed again.
  • Recurring renewals are never refunded.

Sale data in Contacts

Every install, renewal, refund and uninstall reaches your Contacts through @dashnex/dev. See Dev module for the contact, the tag, the events and the Module Installs block.
